   We belive that Art is, like magic, the science of manipulating symbols, words or images, to achieve changes in consciousness.

   Art-making, then, is magic-making   

   There is transformative magic present in both the creative artistic process and the participatory act of observing an artistic creation. Both sides of the coin stem from the need to better understand the world around us, and in doing so to connect what is familiar and what we know to be true with glimpses from the world of the unknown.    Losing yourself in the creation and contemplation of a work of art and gaining insights into yourself in the process, is a fine bit of magic on its own.
